FIX Engine Performance
Prior to engaging with Chronicle, Vantage implemented a widely-used, open-source FIX engine to acquire quotes from liquidity providers. However, as its subscriber base expanded, they were experiencing significant connectivity challenges that caused substantial disruption to service delivery and severely impacted customers’ user experiences.
Vantage needed a better FIX solution to assure performance at scale and approached us to discuss their high throughput and high performance requirements.
SOLUTION
Same-Day Migration to stable, reliable, high performance FIX engine
After providing Vantage with evaluation software and documentation, our specialist development team in APAC spent an afternoon in the client’s office to migrate them from their legacy application to the new Chronicle-driven solution. With minor adjustments by Vantage’s development team, the solution was tested and moved swiftly into production.
RESULTS
Smooth Transition and Enhanced FIX Solution
Chronicle was able to efficiently eliminate the persistent challenges faced by this client. Its connections are now very stable, ensuring that it receives quotes seamlessly, without latency concerns. Results were immediate; the system now handles seven times the maximum load from liquidity providers, with additional scale capacity.
