Runs on Any Cloud Platform
Enjoy the benefits of containerisation for your low-latency services. Chronicle libraries provide low latency and low garbage performance. It is easy to package applications into containers—standardised executable components combining application code with the operating system libraries and dependencies required to run that code in any environment.
Chronicle clusters operate seamlessly in cloud-native environments such as Kubernetes, Nomad, and ECS. Deploy and manage low-latency Chronicle-based applications on the same stack as your less latency-sensitive components.

On-Premise vs Cloud
This test demonstrates how a traditional on-premise bare metal solution will perform in the cloud. The first graph is using AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core processors at 3.4 GHz.
The second graph is the AWS Dedicated RHEL z1d.metal host with 2x12 core Intel Xeon Platinum 8151 processors at 3.4GHz.
Considering that the Ryzen platform has faster memory, higher IPC, better turbo speed and core-to-core propagation than Intel, the conclusion is that the performance on AWS broadly matches on-premise.
In these examples, the hosts have been tuned for performance by Chronicle expert consultants. This is an essential step for achieving low-latency and low-jitter performance. Please get in touch with us to learn more about server tuning or how to move low-latency workloads into the cloud.
