We are pleased to announce that Chronicle Software recently secured an agreement to provide Chronicle FIX to a Global Tier 1 Bank. The initial rollout will be across the Equities division and this will then be extended to other asset classes. This is a significant project and could eventually lead to the deployment of over 20 FIX Engines.
This is the culmination of a long term engagement and the main criteria for the success of the project include:-
Performance:- Throughout the engagement we continued to work closely with the client to ensure that the solution delivered was what the client wanted in terms of functionality and performance, some of the results of this can be found here https://chronicle.software/benchmark/chronicle-fix-with-multiple-connections/
Commercials:- Chronicle offered a very simple to understand pricing model which ensured that the client was able to budget not only for their initial requirement but also to be comfortable that as the amount of servers/connections grew the costs would remain fixed.
Provision of Source code:- Our standard model is that we provide source code to clients who purchase a perpetual license which ensures that as the project develops and in house skills increase the project team are able to deliver a bespoke solution to all parts of the business.
Peter Lawrey CEO Chronicle Software said “This agreement not only expands our portfolio of global clients but also illustrates that Chronicle Software continues to deliver market leading, Java based, FIX solutions “
